Bohunt School
Bohunt School is a secondary school with academy status located in the rural village of Liphook, Hampshire. It is co-educational and takes children from age 11-16 and currently has over 1200 pupils enrolled. The school was opened in 1978 by Lady Madeleine Street of Liphook.
==Academics==
Bohunt has a good academic status and students consistently achieve much higher that the national average at GCSEs and is one of the top 40 performing schools in Hampshire. Interestingly it is also one of the few secondary schools which holds a weekly 'school meeting' (an assembly), in which the majority of the school gathers to celebrate achievements and successes.
Bohunt was designated a Language College, which means that it specialises in modern foreign languages and all pupils take at least one GCSE. Bohunt offers Spanish, German, French, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. In 2005 Bohunt was credited with an International School Award.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 publisher=DCSF ) 〕
In 2014 Bohunt School was awarded TES Overall School and Secondary School of the Year at the TES Awards.
